The Kennels, Beaufront Woodhead

'The Kennels' (house) and attached cottage, to the north-east of Beaufront Woodhead, date from the early 19th century; built in two phases. The actual kennels are a later addition to a building which, to judge from its large south windows, may have been intended as a schoolroom or hall.[1] The building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
