Stobars Hall, Kirkby Stephen


Stobars Hall is a former mansion, located about ½ mile west of Kirkby Stephen. The hall incorporates datestones of 1695 and 1866, but the present building commenced in 1829, with crenellation added, probably in 1866. Stobars Hall is now a residential care home run by the Franklyn Group. Stobars Hall is a Grade II listed building on the National Heritage List for England.
