Stannington Station

Stannington Station is a substantial hamlet in Northumberland clustered around what was previously a railway station, located about a mile north-east of the village of Stannington and about a mile west of Nedderton. Many of the buildings are spread along Stannington Station Road. There is a level crossing where the railway goes through the settlement. Recently, new houses have been built on Nursery Gardens and Willow Drive, and bungalows built on Furrow Grove. Stannington Station is part of Stannington Civil Parish.
