St Cuthbert's Church, Billingham
St Cuthbert’s church is located on the west side of the green at the centre of old Billingham in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. The church's history goes back to the 9th Century when Bishop Ecgred of Lindisfarne built the original church, which became the property of the community of St Cuthbert.[1] Part of the tower on todays church survives from the 10th Century. The church is Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England.
