Source of the South Tyne (Sculpture)


This abstract sculpture by Gilbert Ward marks the source of the River South Tyne. It is located by Tyne Head Fell, about 4 miles south of the of Garrigill in Cumbria. It was unveiled in 2002. Another sculpture by the same artist marks the source of the River North Tyne.
