Scot's House Gatehouse is located off Newcastle Road (A184), near West Boldon. The lodge was built in c.1890 for H.L. Pattinson, chemical manufacturer. Scots House Gatehouse, walls, gates and gate piers are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
