Ruleholme

Ruleholme is a hamlet in Cumbria situated by a bend in the River Irthing and located just off the A689 road, about 2 miles west of Brampton. The Fleece at Ruleholme, a county inn, is located here. Carlisle Lake District Airport is located nearby. In the past, Ruleholme was on the 'Military Road', but was bypassed when the A689 was re-routed in the 1970s.
