Routin Lynn (farm)

The farm at Routin Lynn in Northumberland is located about 2 miles east of the village of Ford. To the south-east is Routin Linn Waterfall on Broomridgedean Burn. To the north-west is Goatscrag Hill, which is known for its Prehistoric rock art. Whellan's 1855 directory of Northumberland lists Thomas Rutherford as farmer at 'Roughtin Lynn'.[1] The farm is within Ford Civil Parish, whilst the waterfall is in the neighbouring Doddington Civil Parish.
