Rosgill Bridge

Rosgill Bridge is a roadbridge over the River Lowther, located to the south-east of Rosgill in Cumbria. It was built in the late 17th century, replacing an earlier wooden bridge here. In 1887 the bridge ws reported to be in a bad state of repair and it was probably then that it was widened and had it's parapets raised. The bridge has 3 segmental arches, separated by cutwaters. The bridge is Grade II lsited on the National Heritage List for England.
