Parish Church of St Augustine of Canterbury, Alston (10)

  • Description

"North Aisle windows - erected in 1890 and dedicated to Rev Edward Lawson, these windows were designed by Nathaniel Westlake and made by Lavers Barraud & Westlake of London. Like Harry Wooldridge, who designed the East Window, Mr Westlake was also influenced by the pre-Raphaelites, but later developed his own pictorial style." Photo by The Carlisle Kid, 2015.
