    "Departure point for lake cruises. MV Tern is a former steamship. According to the owner's website - Tern was first launched in 1891 she was built by Forrest & Son, Wivenhoe, Essex as a steam powered yacht. Capacity now 350 passengers. Re-engined in 1956 and currently 145' long and weighs 121 tonnes. Propulsion is by 2 x 6 cylinder Cummins diesel engines good for 10 knots.
