"The Deerness Valley Path is an attractive path for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders which runs from Broom Park near Durham to Crook http://www.durham.gov.uk/durhamcc/usp.nsf/pws/Durham+Wildlife+Sites+-+Deerness+Valley+Railway+Path.
