    "Schoolhouse and 'Parish Stable' (hearse house), 1762 by Dr. John Sharpe, vicar of Hartburn. Coursed rubble and dressings except for tooled squared stone on west return; slate roof. Gothick style. North front: projecting 3-storey centre bay has late C19 sash below 1st floor 2-light window: trefoiled heads to lights within ogee arch, raised stone surround. Round-headed recesses above. Crenellated parapet...."
