    "View NW towards Gateshead and Newcastle, on the ex-NER Durham Coast Line via Sunderland. These regular-interval expresses were normally worked by these Gresley V1 class 2-6-2Ts, this engine being No. 67640, built 6/35 as No. 486, renumbered 7640 in 1946 and withdrawn (as a 200 h.p.-boiler V3) in 10/62."
