George V wallbox number DH6 88 on Front Street, Sherburn Hill, Co Durham DH6 1PA. Slightly dull, wet and windy, but I grabbed the chance because this was the first time in ages that there were no cars parked outside. After I noticed the collection plate glued to the front, I asked inside the shop if it had ever been a post office. The assistant shrugged and said, "Yeah - years ago." This village is quite small, mainly just one main street with a few side streets.
