Kinley Hill Tower
-
Description
"The listed building is a late C18 or early C19 gazebo in the form of a squat tower made of random limestone rubble with sandstone window surrounds. Derelict but relatively intact in 2004 it suffered collapse during a storm in 2006. Work is currently in progress to underpin its walls with concrete and rebuild its ruined walls. A photograph prior to its collapse is shown here http://www.keystothepast.info/durhamcc/K2P.nsf/K2PDetail?readform&PRNMAP=D12588" Photo by Andrew Curtis, 2009. -
