"The former Stage Door on Stowell Street, Newcastle, was not to be missed for a generation of North East clubbers - and we’d love to hear your memories of the nightclub. Thanks to former DJ Marty for sharing lots of new photos of nights at the club, which we have added to the gallery. Now the Cosmic Ballroom, the venue opened back in the 1960s as The Birdcage casino and was the place to be seen....." -
