Kitty Brewster

Blyth

  • Description

"The Kitty Brewster Bridge carries the A189 over the River Blyth (seen at low tide). Beyond is a rail bridge [[NZ2782]], part of a network of railways built primarily to serve the collieries of south-east Northumberland, under the general name of the Blyth and Tyne railway. The line has been closed for passenger traffic for many years but still carries freight." Photo by Oliver Dixon, 2015.
