Part of the landscaping involved demolishing the village of Kirkharle. The park and formal garden at Kirkharle contains Grade II Listed Buildings and is protected as a Registered Park and Garden...."

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria.
