Open for Business

  • Description

Despite the devastation, the residents of the Central Estate in Hartlepool (the area worst affected by the Great Timber Yard Fire of 1922) show their determination not to let the blaze beat them as, despite his shop having been destroyed during the inferno, Davidson the butcher serves meat to his customers on the street at Union Road, proving that he is truly open for business.
