Chathill station near Preston
-
Description
"Neo-Tudor of 1847, designed by Benjamin Green for the York, Newcastle and Berwick Railway Company. Pevsner described it as "most attractive and satisfyingly complete." Certainly very impressive given that Chathill is only a smattering of buildings. Grade II listed. The station lies on the main east coast line between Alnmouth and Berwick."
