"House, now divided into 2 units. 1810. Built for Robert Horsley for his daughter Charlotte Philadelphia on her marriage to John Beresford, the Baron Decies. Ashlar with plinth. Lakeland slate roof. Classical style. 2 storeys, 5 x 5 bays. West wing: 2 steps up to central original half-glazed door in pedimented surround with attached Tuscan columns....."
