Full title reads: "PRINCE OF WALES TOURS DURHAM - Visit to industrial Welfare Centres." Durham. Stanley. Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) laying foundation stone of the new Social Centre. People gathered around give him three cheers. Close up shot of the stone reading "This Stone Was Laid by H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, on 6th December 1934". Prince surrounded by masses of cheering crowds. Hardwick Hall.
