    Type : Lantern Slide Description : A view of the bottom of Pilgrim Street Newcastle upon Tyne taken c. 1900. The photograph has been taken from Dog Bank and shows the first houses on Pilgrim Street which have been turned into tenement dwellings. Stairs in front of the dwellings lead up to the rest of Pilgrim Street. To the left of the tenements there are stairs which lead down to King Street.
