    Miners Head sculpture 'George' by renowned North East sculptor Ray Lonsdale is a tribute to the town's and North East's long and rich mining history In Seaham Harbour, next to Bells Fish & Chips, the Miner's Head was commissioned by Graham Kennedy, owner of the shop in honour of the all miners and his own father and father-in-law who both spent their lives mining coal in the local area.
