SWIN HOPE METHODIST CHAPEL - List Entry

    Chapel, 1845 remodelled 1884. Coursed rubble, slate roof, stone stack on right gable. 1 storey, 3 bays. Central gabled porch has door with round- headed panels, beneath stone inscribed 'Primitive Methodist' with dates of building and remodelling. Flanking bays have late C19 sashes with similar round heads to the panes. Returns of porch have smaller windows with round- headed panes. Lower section, slightly set back to right, has boarded door and 2 similar sashes in right return. Rear elevation of main block has 2 boarded-over windows.....
