"Bas relief portrait of James Robert Creighton (died 1896), set in the plinth of his memorial [[3611892]] . The plaque is by the sculptor Léon-Joseph Chavalliaud http://www.victorianweb.org/sculpture/chavalliaud/index.html , who also made the St George and dragon statue at the top of the memorial (see English Heritage for particulars http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1408781 ).
