  • Description

"The Carlisle City Centre Cenotaph is in Green Market, near to the Market Cross. The memorial comprises a granite cenotaph mounted on a base. This relatively recent memorial was dedicated in November 1990; Carlisle’s original Cenotaph, dedicated in 1922, is in Rickerby Park." Photo by David Dixon, 2020.
