Druridge Bay, looking south

Description
"When I first visited this beach in the 1950s it had only just been reopened to the public. Barbed wire was still mixed amongst the dunes and the concrete blocks still stood square and strong, well out of the sand. They don't look so formidable now - but I was smaller then."
