    "Parish school and house attached, now community centre. 1870 by Austin and Johnson. Coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and rock-faced quoins; Welsh slate roof with red-moulded ridge tiles. L-plan school with T-plan house, forming 3 ranges round yard facing road. Medieval style. One-storey, 3-bay central block with one-bay projection at left; right projection is left bay of 2-bay house, with second bay set back at right; porch in angle with second bay. School has 3 wide windows..."
