Chinatown on Stowell Street

  • Description

"Looking southwards down the street from St Andrew's Street. The whole street is lined with Chinese restaurants and shops, which have gradually taken over the area since the late 1970's. Rosie's Bar on the corner has been here since long before that, 1890 to be precise. It was The Northumberland Arms until the 1970's." Photo by Robert Graham, 2018.
