Dipton, St John's Church

  • Description

"The parish church of St John the Evangelist, opened in 1886. Before this, the villagers had to walk to Harelaw Church, and in earlier times, all the way to Lanchester. The church stands beside the road down from the Front Street to Pontop Hall." Photo by Robert Graham, 2022.
