"House, c.1830. Tooled stone front with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, other walls rubble; Welsh slate roof. T-plan. South elevation 2 storeys, 5 bays, symmetrical. Plinth, 1st floor band, eaves cornice. 2 steps up to central renewed door under 8-pane overlight, in raised surround with Tuscan pilasters and moulded cornice....Originally mine owner's house for the adjacent colliery (now removed), later the NCB pay offices for the area...." -
