    Millom and District Local History Society relaunched late in 2021 and here is our new website. As well as an introduction to the Society there are lots of useful links at the bottom of the page and a News section as well as sections about our Programmes, Membership, Projects (Geophys, Holy Trinity Stones and Heritage Triangle) plus Millom Through Time, an on-going section looking at Millom through different periods; Prehistory and Roman Millom have been completed.

ABOUT US

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria. Co-Curate is a trans-disciplinary project that will open up 'official' museum and 'un-officia'l co-created community-based collections and archives through innovative collaborative approaches using social media and open archives/data.
