    "The church of St Catherine was erected in 1922 and has seating for approximately 120. It is a timber building, set in its own grounds, surrounded by a stone wall. There is a small hall in the grounds. It was always intended to replace the structure with a 'permanent' building but this has not happened. But the lack of emphasis on a building has led to a deeper fellowship and friendship in the congregation and a freedom and informality in much of the worship..."
