"House with attached outbuilding formerly smithy. 1697 on datestone, with later alterations and additions. House is roughcast stone, outbuilding of stone rubble-with slobbered mortar; slate roofs, older to left. House of 2 storeys and 2 bays. ... Outbuilding of 2 storeys has sliding door and small window with small-paned glazing to left; paired loading doors above. Stone to right dated 1697 with initials, probably: "MP-" above with 3 nails to side, and hammer, pincers and horseshoe below; cable-mould border...."
