Wreighill Deserted Medieval Village
-
Description
"This was the site of the village of Wreighill. In 1412 it was burnt by a raiding Scottish army, and in 1665 many of the villagers died from the plague. Although the remains of ridge and furrow can be seen nearby, there are no traces of the village itself...." -
