"Baltic Chambers dates from c1900 and was extended in 1991 with the addition of the striking corner turret. There is a photo of the building dated 1981 here http://www.flickr.com/photos/newcastlelibraries/4078668896/ There is a photo of the corner of Broad Chare and Quayside from 1976 on this site [[1077656]] and from Newcastle Libraries http://www.flickr.com/photos/newcastlelibraries/4080641203/ There is a blue coloured 'space invader' just visible on the corner of Rewcastle Chare [[2128230]].
