    "A Belliss & Morcom steam engine direct coupled to a Belliss & Morcom coke oven gas compressor. Built c1952, stopped 1986 and believe scrapped 1987. A whole load of these were installed in coke works in the north-east in the mid-1950s. All now gone." Photo by Chris Allen, 1986.
