Millennium window, Rosley Holy Trinity Church

  • Description

"This beautiful window was designed by Alex Haynes of Albion Glass, Brampton http://www.albionglass.co.uk/ . Mary and Jesus are surrounded by images representing the community of Rosley - there are farm animals, the village church, school and hall, together with wild animals and flowers. The upper part of the window symbolises the Eternal Trinity, and the oak tree at the centre links the Earth to Heaven (description based on a full explanation by the artist, in a frame on the window sill)."
