Acklington Station

  • Description

"The stopping service on the East Coast Main Line between Newcastle and Chathill is vestigial. Two trains a day leave Acklington for Newcastle - at 7.36 and 19.28; a single train returns - 1715 at Newcastle, arrives 18.02. The old station house is now a private residence, but there is a waiting room on the side for Newcastle." Photo by Oliver Dixon, 2011.
