All Saints Church, Orton

  • Description

"The west tower. This tower was built circa 1504 and was originally lime rendered and lime washed. However, this was removed in the Victorian era and rainwater accordingly penetrated. Following consultation with - and a generous grant from - English Heritage, the render and wash were replaced in 2005." Photo by The Carlisle Kid, 2015.
