All Saints Church in Orton near Tebay

  • Description

"A Stones throw from the busy M6, this church nestles in the countryside village of Orton, just North of the Howgill fells. Inspired to visit this by a local B&B owner, I was very grateful, as it proved very pleasant. The Lime washed walls of the church are quite striking in the sunshine. Many other pictures of this Church are here on Geograph, but this view looking up from the graveyards, has a very poignant feel to it. I hope you agree." Photo by Phillip Gamble, 2014.
