    "Situated off Station Road, this station was on the former railway line between Barnard Castle and Penrith which closed in January, 1962. It is now at the western end of the Eden Valley Railway which runs between Appleby and Warcop. Its postcode is CA16 6TX." Photo by David Hillas, 1978.
