"The bridge carrying the A7 over the River Eden at Carlisle, was built in 1815 with five long arches. The width of the bridge was doubled in 1932. The bridge is designated as a Grade I listed building by English Heritage (http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-386570-eden-bridge-cumbria British Listed Buildings)."
