Queens Square


Queens Square in Kirkby Lonsdale forms part of the B6254 route. The south end of Queens Square continues on from Market Street and Beck Head, at its junction with Mitchelgate. The north end of the road continues onto Fairbank. On the east side of Queens Square is the churchyard of St Mary's Church, in which stands the War Memorial and a C19th Drinking Fountain. On the west side of the Square is Kirkby Lonsdale Methodist Church. There are a number of early and mid 19th century houses on the Square, including Nos,. 5 & 7, and No.12, which are listed buildings.
