Paternoster Row

Paternoster Row is a street, which runs between Abbey Street and Castle Street in Carlisle. The east side of the Row runs alongside the grounds of Carlisle Cathedral and forms part of the western boundary of the Cathedral Precinct. At the south end of the Row is the 16th century Abbey Gatehouse and an archway to Dean Tait's Lane, which connects with West Walls (street). At the north end, on the corner with Castle Street, is The Boardroom, which dates from the 18th century.
