Old Milestone, Warwick-on-Eden


There is an old milestone by the A69 in Warwick-on-Eden. It was erected in 1830 for the Carlisle to Brampton Turnpike Trust, made with red sandstone (painted) with cast iron plates. The milestone is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
