Old Milepost, A6, Thrimby


Old Milepost by the A6 west of Thrimby (allegedly stolen in 2018[1]). The cast iron post was located by the A6, opposite the entrance to Thrimby Cottages. It was erected by the Heronsyke & Eamont Bridge Turnpike Trust in the 19th century.
