Salvation Army Citadel, Saddler Street


Nos. 47 and 48, Saddler Street, Durham hosts Salvation Army Sanctuary 21. The building incorporates part of the old North Gate of Durham, which was taken down in 1820. Built in the early 19th century, it was previously assembly rooms and shops, The building is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England.
